We (finally) have a date set for a Cartooning Workshop:
Saturday, Dec. 10, 11am - 1 pm
The workshop is for people 10 yrs. old and up and will be taught by Sam
Carbaugh, a graduate of the School For Cartoon Studies and teacher of cartooning at AVA
Arts Center.

Thanks to the Friends, there is no fee for this workshop.

Mark Your Calendars!

The Friends of the Morrill Memorial & Harris Library are busy preparing for
their annual Open House & Holiday Sale. This year's event will be held on
Saturday, December 3rd from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the library.
Holiday offerings will include fresh wreaths & potted bulbs, baked goods &
jewelry, white elephant items & books, and handmade ornaments. There will
also be an "Eat, Drink, & Be Merry" raffle which will showcase goods and
services from generous Strafford, Upper ...

Even though school dismisses early this Thursday, we will run the "after
school" program at 3:15 - 4:30.
Friday at 10 am is Storytime.

Thanks to everyone who came for the "Mango / Downloadable" workshop on
Saturday ----- it was much busier than we expected!We hope everyone was able
to get started.......... please don't hesitate to let us know if you need more
