Reading Log celebration for the students who participated in keeping summer 
Reading Logs  ----- Monday at 6:30. 

Thursday, 1pm, the reading group will discuss the book "Zeitoun" by Dave Eggers.

 New titles at the library or arriving soon: "Double Cross: the True Story of the D-Day Spies" - Ben Macintyre; "The Bartender's Tale" - Ivan Doig; "Where'd You Go Bernadette" - Maria Semple; mysteries by Dean Koontz, Laura Lippman, Louise Penny, Kathy Reichs and Tess Gerritsen; "Every Day" - David Levit...

Library Notes--8/20/2012

If your child started a summer Reading Log, please make sure they write down
the titles of the books they have read over the summer, 
BY THIS THURSDAY,  AUGUST 23, 5PM.
On Monday, Aug. 27, at 6:30 pm, we will have a SHORT (yes, we know it's the 
first day of school!) celebration of our summer readers, so please stop in.

This Friday, 10am, will be the last Storytime for the summer. Emily is planning children's
programs for the school year and we'll let you know as soon as the schedule is set.

Library Notes--8/9/2012

Friday: STORYTIME 10 am,
with a very special guest host: Carol Wilson. Carol will present a program on dogs
and she may bring a special guest with her.

Tonight (Thursday) is the second Town House Forum:
"A Century of News Gathering" ------ more info on the website: www.townhouseforum.com
The program starts at 7, but all are welcome to come early, bring a picnic and join the panelists.

Monday evening at 6:30 will be the last children's evening program for the summer ----
Emily will host a movie night...
