A reminder that the library will be closed this Monday, in honor of MLK Day.

A week from Monday, on Monday, 1/26, from 6:45 - 8, the library will host an i-pad "drop-in" time.
If you recently started using an i-pad or just need some pointers / reminders, or want to learn something new,
Cindy Stableford will be here to answer your questions. Bring your i-pad (and remember your apple account password).

Please let us know if there are other "tech" issues in which you would like the library to try and host a workshop. Using a kindle?
Setting up an email account? Safety issues on the internet? If there is interest, we will try to arrange a workshop or "drop-in" tech session.

Books are available to borrow for the VT Humanities Council program "Masters of the Short Story". We will be meeting on three Tuesday evenings at 7 pm:
Feb. 10, March 17 and April 14. We will host guest scholars to lead discussions on the works of three writers: Anton Chekov, Flannery O'Connor and Ann Beattie.
Be sure to pick up the list of which stories to read from each book and please join us.

The Reading Group meets Thursday, Jan. 29 at 1pm to discuss "The Blue Flower" by Penelope Fitzgerald.
