Jim Schley will lead this first discussion on the stories for Envy & Gluttony. We still have a couple of copies of the book.

The Reading Group has chosen the book "The Door" by Magda Szabo for their next discussion on Thur., Feb. 25 at 1 pm.
Named one of the New York Times "10 best books of 2015", it was originally published in Hungary in 1987, but translated just last year. It's described as "an unsettling exploration of the relationship between two very different women".

New titles include:" "Dark Money" - Jane Mayer, "When Breath Becomes Air" - Paul Kalanithi, "Cure: A Journey Into the Science of Mind Over Body" - Jo Marchant, "Food52 Genius Recipes" - Kristen Miglore, "After the Crash" - Michel Bussi, "The Bitter Season" - Tami Hoag.

Some of you may not know that every year, the Morrill Library dedicates a picture book to each Strafford child born during that year. You may have noticed the special bookplates in some of our picture books. We are just catching up with the last couple of years (sorry) ....... and only know of one child for all of 2015. Please let us know if you know of any babies born in Strafford last year.
