Library Notes--10/1/2014

October 1, 2014
This Thursday, the activity for the after-school program will be playing games. Some of the kids expressed interest in playing "Pokeman" ---- so this is a reminder that they will need to bring in their own cards.
There will be other games available...... and we are very happy to report that someone has donated a very large bucket of Legos to the library!

The Reading Group has chosen a classic for their next discussion: Mark Twain's "Innocents Abroad". They will meet on Thursday, Oct. 30 at 1 pm. Let us know if you need a copy of the book.

From the Morrill Library Trustees

September 5, 2014
A dedicated group of volunteers is essential to the vitality and success of a small-town library. Their generous donation of time, skills and effort allows patrons to receive a level of service that would otherwise be impossible with the library’s limited resources. But it is hard to imagine where the library would be without voluntee...
