Thanks to so many people, we had another incredibly successful book sale. Special thanks to Rachel Kurland for organizing this event, and to The Friends of the Morrill Library and the many many volunteers who helped ------  sorting, sorting, sorting, setting up, carrying heavy boxes and more heavy boxes. Library Notes--7/2/2014

THE  BOOK  SALE  IS  ALMOST  HERE!
Friday 5-7 pm
Saturday 9 am - 1pm
Donations gratefully accepted through Thursday.
Great bargains and a great time to stock up. There's an especially great selection of children's books this year.
On Saturday, the library will be open for the sale only, not for regular library business. 
(of course, internet access is always available outside).
Friday evening is especially fun, as you can stroll next door to the Homestead for the art show and "mini" auction!

Library Notes--6/27/2014

So far, 23 students have started Summer Reading Logs ---- a great start! Students can start them any time and record the books they've read over the summer. We keep the logs at the library, so they don't get lost, but many students find it helpful to keep a list at home so they don't forget the titles when they come in to fill out their "official" log here. We encourage all students to keep a log and read for pure pleasure over the summer, so come in and start one anytime!

BOOK SALE!

The Friends of the Morrill Memorial Library are busy collecting, sorting and getting ready for the annual BOOK SALE!
It's shaping up to be another great sale. Donations are greatly appreciated ( but please, no encyclopedias, text books, computer books, old travel guides or moldy / damaged books)
anytime the library is open: Monday 1- 8; Wednesday 2 - 5; Thursday 10 - 5; Saturday 9 - 12.

Students can stop in any time and start their summer Reading Logs here at the library!

We now have passes to The Fells, Historic Estate and Gardens, in Sunapee, NH, thanks (again) to the Friends of the Morrill Library. They're a bit different than other passes ----- they are for particular days of the week, so you need to know what day you will be going ---- but we have passes for every day of the week. Thursday on the South Royalton green, The event is 3 -9, we'll be there 3 - 6.
