Friends Need Your Help!

The Friends of the Morrill Memorial and Harris Library (FOMML) are planning
a Regiftables Table for their Holiday Sale on December 7, 11 am to 2 pm.
We are seeking donations of new or almost new items that would make
affordable (re)gifts for parents or spouses, children or siblings, or other
special friends.    If you have any of the following items that are no
longer needed in your household, please consider donating them to the FOMML
before December 1:

household decorative items and/or knick knacks
kitchen utensils or gadgets
table linens
games and toys (no eletronics please)
jewelry
books
hand made craft items
ornaments

help.

It has come to our attention that Thursday is a half day at school. The
after-school program at the library will go on as scheduled at 3:15 -----
please remember to tell teachers NOT to send students here on the bus at 12:30.

The Reading Group has changed their schedule for next month. To avoid holiday conflicts,
they will next meet on Thursday, Dec. 12 at 1 pm to discuss the book "Dodger" by Terry Pratchett.

 It's the Friends of the Morrill Memorial & Harris Library annual meeting.
There will be a short business meeting at 6:30. At 7, we will be treated to refreshments and a program with

On VPR's "Vermont Edition" show, there will be a series on DCF (Dorothy Canfield Fisher) books, "Dorothy's List: A Monthly Series for Young Readers. We’ll visit schools and libraries around Vermont to hear what kids have to say about the books. i-pad workshops! Cindy Stableford has agreed to share her expertise and enthusiasm.
She will run two workshops of two sessions each, all on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 - 8:30pm:

The Thursday after-school program starts TODAY! 3:15 - 4:15.

There is a new rotation of LUV DVD's & audiobooks.
A gentle reminder to PLEASE be careful with discs ------- some of them look like
they've been through a disaster  ( a car floor perhaps? ) and it's difficult to justify replacement costs.

You are welcome to stop by the library and pick up some information we have received from them ----- 
brochures and cards to help people get through this new system. The library can become a resource 
for helping through this transition period. If there is demand, we can schedule a trained "navigator" to
