Friday, 10 am: STORYTIME!

Saturday: "Downloadables" --- learn how to download ebooks and audiobooks, free through the library.
 10 -11am - i-devices; 11-12 - kindles, nooks, the rest.
Bring your device, set up with an apple or amazon account and remember your password!

We need all LUV DVD's returned by Saturday, so we can get a new collection on Monday.

MONDAY EVENING at the library

6:30 at the library ----- children's programs start this evening,
with a special visit from naturalist Kurt Valenta, who will bring an ant colony and 
teach us about the wonders of ant colony life.

Donations for the sale can be brought to the library Wednesday (2 -5) and 
FRIDAY   ----- TILL NOON.
It should be another great sale: Friday 5 - 7 and Saturday 9 - 1.

The library will be CLOSED on Thursday, July 4 AND Saturday, July 6 (for the annual book sale).
So plan ahead if you need a great book to read, a DVD, an audiobook or one of the passes.
(Feel free to call about the passes...... some are in demand)

Over 25 children have started summer Reading Logs! 
There's still plenty of time to stop in and start one, up in the loft.

Only two more weeks till the book sale ....... one of our major fundraisers, 
put on by the Friends of the Morrill Memorial Library.
From the crowded basement where sorting is taking place, it looks like it will be another great sale.

Summer vacation starts today and we welcome children to participate in the summer programs at 
the Morrill Memorial & Harris Library. The theme this year is "Dig into Reading".

         Students can come in any time to start a summer READING LOG. We strongly encourage all kids
to read over the summer -------- yes, to keep up and improve on their reading skills --------- but mostly to enjoy

This Thursday will be the last after-school program for the school year. Please make sure that
your child wants to participate in the program if you send them to the library ........ we are too busy
 to provide supervision if they are leaving the building.

The Reading Group meets Thursday, 5/30 at 1pm to discuss 'The Club Dumas"
by Arturo Perez-Reverte.

The annual book sale is in 6 weeks !!!!! 
The sale is put on by The Friends of the Morrill Memorial & Harris Library as a benefit for the library

Please join us this evening (Thursday) at 7pm in the United Church 
for a benefit concert for the library:
The Sylvia Smith Percussion Duo will perform "A Vietnam Memorial", composed by Stuart Smith,
written for spoken voice and percussion. The Smiths are residents of Strafford and have kindly offered to put on this benefit.
