Rachel reported that all is going well for Library Board. The fuel oil was paid for early and the Friends paid several other expenses. The State is pushing for the cleaning of the Brumidi painting of Justin Morrill but the Board is counting on the State to get the funding to pay for the cleaning. Scanner: The new one has been more finicky than hoped for, and Rebecca has switched it to her computer and hooked up the old one to the main computer.

Scanner: The new one is now hooked up, but the jury is still out on whether it’s a keeper. It has to be held exactly so to read bar codes, but that may be a good thing because it will slow people down and reduce the number of checkout errors.
